You will get to know the places where our designs and products are created, enjoying all the aroma of Portioli coffee.
At the end of the guided tour of our roasting plant, you will be welcomed by expert tasters in special classrooms, to learn the basic rules of coffee product transformation, the correct adjustment and maintenance of the equipment and the secrets for the preparation of the perfect Espresso.
The course is divided into a first theoretical part in which we will talk about coffee, its history with botanical and geographical hints and harvesting methodologies to better understand and choose coffee for your bar. You will delve into the rules of grinding along with those of the 5Ms and 5Ls and discover the correct maintenance and cleaning technique for your machines and equipment.
This will be followed by an important practical part during which you will learn how to prepare and serve espresso properly and how to handle any daily challenges that may arise in your shop.
At the end of the day, there will be a test including a theoretical and a practical session. You will understand the goals you have achieved, getting the certificate of competence.
