During the two-day course you will immerse yourself in the most complete scenario of the coffee landscape with the goal of appreciating, recognizing and classifying aromas starting from individual origins and ending with blends.
You will have the opportunity to taste coffees from the most important and sought-after plantations, participating in real blind tests.
You will be introduced to the different extraction methodologies i.e. coffee makers (filter, espresso, French press, syphon, dripper…), as well as the latest trends in the world of coffee making.
During the second day, you will delve into topics regarding related products in the area of coffee making such as chocolate, tea, infusions etc. and see how to prepare and present them to your customers in the best way possible. You will also be shown the different equipment essential for baristas.
At the end of the course, a theoretical and practical test will allow you to understand the goals you have achieved.


Two days with our industry professionals, during which you will learn how to recognize the perfect espresso through the senses and how to properly use Portioli coffee tools and products.
